Look Who Got To Talk About Windows 7 And Gaming
Microsoft, and Promethium Marketing held a little shindig off-site from E3 to promote Windows 7 and the gaming experiences that you will get to have with the new OS. At the event they had several machines running Windows 7 and games like Left 4 Dead, Crysis, Dawn of War II and others, and I have to admit they looked like they were running very smooth. I was playing L4D on a decent laptop running Windows 7 and even in release candidate form, the games were running really well.
Also, we found out that they had a release date for Windows 7, and that date is October 22nd, 2009. Looks like I know what I am doing in four months.
Also, make sure to comment on my horrendous beard growth. I had no time to shave all week, so there you go!

i really feel boned for buying vista there goes 180 bucks right out the window. but if you say you were running l4d on a laptop smoothly do you know what graphics chipset it had in it?and i already left you a comment on twitter about your beard. :0
Very cool! You can definitely tell you really play PC games unlike quite a few of these other people that did interviews with the Windows 7 crew.
I hate it when I look at the wrong page of notes. It is October 22nd, not August 23rd. Sorry for the confusion
Nice! That is some hot stuff right there. I opted for the HD version for the True HaygooD Experience.
I did something like that for Nintendo the other day, but it was just me talking to myself in the car on the interstate.
Lookin good Joe!
Horrendous beard growth??? You combed your hair! That's the noticeable part
.
And of course he has sense about PC gaming, he's the only one left. I kid
.
Hah, combed your hair!
Is no one going to mention the glazed-over, sleep-deprived eyes?
I just assumed his eyes ALWAYS looked like that, didn't think it was worth pointing out.
Yeah, that zombie stare just comes natural.
Just to give it some context, this was on Wednesday, after two days of getting up at 5AM, and staying up to 2-3AM either putting together appointments and notes, or partying.
That must have been difficult! Joe needs his beauty sleep!
