Tiny Diggers – An iPad Construction Truck Game for Kids Age 2-5

Game writer extrordinare Tom Chick, seems to have been given the cold shoulder by Sucker Punch, because of a couple of articles he wrote about inFamous. 

inFamous is the big hit that Sucker Punch has been working on for some time, and the developer and Sony had scheduled an interview with Tom Chick.  Shortly before that interview, Tom Chick had written two articles about inFamous, one entitled “Top Ten Stupid Things About inFamous” and the opposing “Top Ten Cool Things About inFamous“.  Upon arriving for the Sucker Punch interview, Tom was told that it would not be happening.

“I had hoped to post an interview with one of the developers from Sucker Punch today, but I got stood up. Sony later informed me that an interview wasn’t appropriate considering last week’s coverage of the game,”  said Chick.

Sucker Punch has the right to pull the interview away, if they feel they do not like the coverage, but they have to realize that this will only snowball into a bigger story because they did this.  They should have just allowed the interview to proceed, just from a PR coverage standpoint.  Now people are going to be asking them about this issue, rather than the game itself.  Score one for Sony and Sucker Punch being stubborn.
