They're a good group of guys, I'm thinking that the reason they respond well to their fans is because of the flash portal site Newgrounds from which some of them got started. Alien Hominid started as a flash game on that site and from the help of the community, it grew into what it is today. Its a true testament to their working relationship with their audience.

Try sending something like that to EA and... bupkis. It's really cool of them to have an actual exchange with a customer, rather than sending out an automated email. The Behemoth obviously knows that great customer service keeps the customers coming back and spreading the word. All Activision knows is that they can hump the life out of the Guitar Hero brand, and ignorant fools will still buy every game.

You're exactly right. That copy of AH only made them their money when it was bought new, but the person holding the game remains their customer. If Castle Crashers were on a platform I own, I'd have bought it already. I'm hoping their upcoming game is multiplatform.

Thanks. Yes, I enjoy their games and I don't mind them being on 360, just also wish I could play them on PSN or WiiWare. AH is the only Behemoth game we can play on Wii, and only by finding a used copy of the Gamecube version, which is long out of print.

And they had no horrible commentary towards you for buying the game used. Nothing about how their families would not be able to eat due to you taking food from their very mouths? I am shocked that one company could get past the whole used game market to be kind and send you a manual any way.

Oh wait, good customer service like this will probably make you a customer of the Beheamoth for life. Maybe other companies could learn from this.

The Behemoth really does love you, and I think they love me as well. I mean, I don't think they're cheating on you with me or anything, that's just how they are. They love everyone and well, what can you do? They're huggers. Everyone loves a hugger. They're doin' it right.

I got that dang "pesky" 360, but at least it's an simple way to play Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers to get that Behemoth fix. I can't wait for their new one!

Excellent post Stephen! Cheers.
