I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.

hp_hbp_all_global_characterrenderharry_041609_psd_jpgcopyI cannot attest to the greatness that is Harry Potter, because I have never read any of the books, and I have watch exactly 1.5 movies in the Harry Potter series (I have only finished half of the first movie and all of the second one), but I have always ended up buying the Harry Potter games.  The purchases were normally due to trying to find fun games that would be good for my son, and the Harry Potter games have normally filled that niche, at least for a little while.

Today, I just found out when I will be purchasing the next Harry Potter game, as EA has announced that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be on retail shelves June 30th.  Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, aka. HP6, will continue its formula of mixing adventure game puzzling with wizard duels and some Quiddich action.

As with all the other Harry Potter games, this one is coming out on just about every platform you can think of and then some.  While it is coming out on June 30th here in the States, it will be delayed for a week in the UK and Europe until July 6th.  Check the jump for the full press release.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) and Warner Bros. My problem with the game is while playing, the graphics/background I see is transparent, and I've tried everything I can lookup in Google but to no avail.

I opened a thread like this a year ago but I didn't reply to it because I quit trying to solve this problem, but just recently I had the urge to play the game and realizing that the problem is not yet solved. I have more than the minimum/recommended requirement, updated drivers, DirectX11, scanned for virus/malware, dusted off my CPU and the problem is still there.

    My System Specs:
    Windows Vista Home Premium SP2
AMD Athlon 64 X2 DUal Core Processor 4200+ 2.21 GHz
    RAM 2GB
    NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS
Total Available Graphics Memory: 1023 MB
    Dedicated Video Memory: 256 MB

    Minimum System Requirements
    OS: Windows XP/Vista
    Processor: Pentium 4 @ 1.8 GHz
    Memory: 256 Mb
    Hard Drive: 5 Gb free
    Video Memory: 64 Mb
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 / ATI Radeon 7500
    Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
    DirectX: 9.0c
    Keyboard
    Mouse
    DVD Rom Drive

    Recommended System Requirements
    OS: Windows XP/Vista
Processor: Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.13 GHz
    Memory: 1 Gb
    Hard Drive: 5 Gb free
    Video Memory: 128 Mb
    Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
    DirectX: 10
    Keyboard
    Mouse
    DVD Rom Drive

    I'm getting desperate, please help.
