Postal Comes to Good Old Games This Week
Good Old Games announced their addition of Running With Scissors to the developer library over at GOG.com. Running With Scissors brings with them the original Postal, which is now entitled Postal: Classic and Uncut, which is available for purchase today at $5.99. The follow up to Postal 2, now entitled Postal 2: Complete, will be coming to Good Old Games in a few weeks.
For those that were too young to remember, the original Postal, was not a first person game, and you did not play as “The Postal Dude”. Instead, you played a man that had snapped and through fourteen isometric viewed levels, you reigned terror upon the city and its citizens. While it may look tame in the screens included, it was a tough game to play. It included things like citizens that would gasp out things like “Please stop” or “I Can’t Breathe” or the ever popular “I Can’t Feel My Legs”. It also included the suicide mode where you could end up putting your gun in your mouth and pulling the trigger. Yeah, definitely not for kids.
It was critizied by the media, but due to slow sales and some buggy gameplay, it was not a huge seller, but it was an interesting title nevertheless. Check out some of the screens after the jump of both Postal: Classic and Uncut as well as Postal 2: Complete.
