Nintendo delivers DSi sofas… to Animal Crossing
Not that Nintendo would ever tell you about this – not through e-mail or in-game mail or Wii Message Board mail – but if you’ve been haunting the official Animal Crossing: City Folk item delivery page, you may have discovered a cool new item: the DSi sofa! Sorry for the late notice, but you have about one more day to fire up your AC and receive the DSi.
This larger-than-life black DSi follows on the heels of the Pikmin Hat that Nintendo distributed last month.
The next free delivery is scheduled for Tax Day, so it looks like Nintendo is finally starting to reward AC:CF players through exclusive items. The first Animal Crossing received “new” items via codes in Nintendo Power, and Wild World went through several months of weekly WiFi items. It would have been great if Nintendo had bothered to tip these plans back when City Folk was collecting all those Dud of the Year awards back in November.

Why do they always just spring these new items on you without a notice? It seems like a lot of people are missing out of these giveaways because they don't tell anyone about them.
At least this time we won't have to hear Joe bemoan how he missed it this time on the podcast.
