Marvel vs Capcom 2 returns; demo available exclusively on PSN

Submitted by Joe Fourhman on April 27, 2009 – 8:30 pmView Comments

Today Capcom verified that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is coming to both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live this summer! Nobody is talking price yet, but the downloadable game will be enhanced from the Dreamcast original with upscaled graphics, custom soundtrack support, widescreen, online play and complete unlockage. Yes, all 56 fighters will be available as soon as you boot it up. No doubt due to the big leaky Wolverine movie, ol’ Berzerker Barrage himself is the Marvel half cover boy.

And surprise surprise, a demo is coming this week, but only to PS3 owners. The free demo will feature six characters and seven environments (no online play, natch) and arrives April 30.

I’m hardly a fighter guy, but I’m in for this one. What do you guys think? $15? $20?

  • I liked this game, but was never in love with it. That said, I will pay maybe 800-1200 points for it at most. Then again, I have yet to get Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix at 1200 points/$15.00
  • Get Josh in on this. It's time...for the HD Blind Match!
  • Harshy
I was kinda hoping to unlock them all myself, but this is HUGE!!! Time for the Cable - Iceman cheat...

Am very happy to hear that Capcom is reissuing this game again.

BTW: Love the music for the video...Transformers anyone. ;)
  • I could pay 15 for it, but really, I think that they should use more spidey and less wolvie
