Classics crop up in Clawson

On a business trip to Detroit, a couple of co-workers and I were grabbing a bite to eat on our way out of town and happened to walk by indie music/video/game store when something caught my eye: an original Atari VCS box. I quickly scanned the rest of the store front’s window and saw both the original PS2, its’ silver cousin, as well as a NES Action Pack. Oh, and a Gamecube rounded out that motley crew. Seems that some older systems can still be found outside of exorbitant eBay listings. Unfortunately, there wasn’t time to stop into Flipside to check their going prices. Alas, the store seems to have mixed reviews on Google which may hinder the prospect of a cheap find. A couple close-up images after the jump.

    Around here (Central Illinois) there are places called “Game Exchange” that deal mainly with retro games, but they take pre-orders and carry all the new stuff, too. They're more fun to shop in than eBay.
