Vin Diesel Shares on Gaming, Quick Look at Riddick Multiplayer

Vin Diesel is the champion for all the geeks that have been picked on throughout the ages.  Breaking the stereotype in a big way, Vin has always had a place in his heart for video games, to the point of opening up a game studio to help create games, using his likeness in those titles.  Morgan Webb, over at G4TV’s X-Play, had a chance to talk with Vin, and get some of his thoughts on gaming, including Tigon Studios focus on making games.

The bonus in the video footage is a long montage of the online play that will be featured in the upcoming Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena video game.  Seems that Vin Diesel wanted desperately to get multiplayer into this title, and he has succeeded.

    the mulitplayer aspect of it looks ok but i hope they have more than just a hunter mode in it.but i am suprised to see that he has his own studio maby he is one of the few actors that actually care about the movie to game transformation.

    Another famous person with a gaming studio is Curt Shilling, the MLB pitcher. He was obsessed with World of Warcraft, so he used his money for the good of gaming. It's nice to see people who wouldn't be considered nerds standing up for the video games industry.
