The new Blob in town is the old Blob

Yeah, you guys all thought that De Blob game last year was great. It wasn’t. So start getting excited about a new Blob, the original Blob.

This week Nintendo Power’s new website revealed a new Boy and His Blob, which has not been seen in gaming aisles in almost twenty years! And now there’s some video, showing off a classically 2D design with the jellybean-eating shenanigans that made this title a joy back in the day.

Is this what the Wii will become known for? Between this, Warioland: Shake It, and Muramasa, the Wii has some super-sweet 2D games in the library.

  • This is the best news ever. Everything people love about non-Wii consoles is now, instantly, once-and-for-all, stupid and un-fun.

    Blob lives!

    There is nothing coming out for any console as cool or fascinating as this title.
