New DLC Coming to Saints Row 2, Unless You Are a PC Gamer
So after using her extensively in the marketing campaign for the game, it seems that the execs at both THQ and Volition have decided that they need to get more out of their investment in Tera Patrick. I mean, she was not in the game at any point, and she disappeared from the Saints Row 2 radar screen immediately after launch.
Well it seems that they were using foreshadowing, as Tera Patrick is now coming to Stillwater in the upcoming DLC pack, Saints Row 2: Ultor Exposed. Tera has come to town to assist the Saints in uncovering the dirty laundry of the Ultor Corporation (Soylent Green anyone?).
The DLC pack will include three new missions that have you playing along with Tera Patrick, several new cars, two new maps and a new competitive co-op mode where you and a friend play in a head to head game, trying to see who can destroy more cars, gang members, property, and other assorted items.
This is the first of three DLC packs that are scheduled to arrive on the two consoles over the next few months.
The DLC will be coming to the Xbox 360 at 800 sand dollars and to the PS3 at $10, and will arrive on April 16th.. And what about the PC version of the DLC? Well, so far, it looks like the PC players are not getting access to the DLC at this time. An email was submitted to THQ to find out if it will ever come to the PC, but we have received no answer as of yet.

Does this DLC include, perhaps, a video of Ms. Patrick?

Wasn't Ultor in Red Faction as well?

Wasn't Ultor in Beyond Good & Evil as well? BA-ZING! Soylent Green joke!

Yes Ultor corp is part of Red Faction, another Volition property.
I like this for two reasons.
1. I just won this game at auction. No whammies, please ship it soon seller!
2. I had no idea they were going to release anything new for this game, and
3. it makes me hope my vain little hope that they'll patch in Trophies.
A guy can dream.

I'm not buying THQ and Volition games anymore. If they forget about PC gamers, then I'll forget about them.
I won't play the “console exclusive content” game of these people. I bet Microsoft and Sony payed THQ/Volition to make the DLC exclusive in order to force PC gamers to buy their consoles.
Sorry to say, but a PC configured for gaming beats any console. I own such a PC, so I don't want to spend money on a console.
If a game editor tries to force me to get a console just so Microsoft and Sony can make more money, then I'll stop buying any games from that editor. It's really that simple. Editors need to decide who their customers are: Microsoft/Sony or the gamers. They chose Microsoft and Sony, so I choose their competitors over them.
Saints Row 2 is a great game, and I would had bought Saints Row 3 had THQ not made the DLCs console exclusive. I'm not buying any other THQ games until Saints Row 2 gets the DLCs on PC too. I encourage everybody to boycott THQ/Volition or at least Saints Row 2 until THQ stop giving PC gamers the middle finger. We bought their game, we deserve a little more respect.
