Little Big Planet For A Steal of a Deal

Submitted by on March 18, 2009 – 12:08 am3 Comments

littlebigplanetsaleThe biggest criminal shame of last year was the fact that Little Big Planet, a game that had system seller written all over it, sold poorly on the PS3.  This was a game that had everything people could have asked for in a game.  Easy creation tools, family fun, and tons of free, user generated content all over the place after it launched.  Media Molecule has even release a slew of DLC for Little Big Planet, adding costumes, new items to build with, and even new levels.  However, it has still sold under the expectations of Sony and Media Molecule.

So with all that in mind, I just got my GoGamer 48 Hour Madness email and lo and behold, Little Big Planet is in there, new, for $21.90.  At that price, you are getting the game for a steal of a deal.  At that price, I am even tempted to buy it, and I don’t even own a PS3 as of yet.  They have some other items for sale this week, but the Little Big Planet is the best deal of the bunch.  Unless you want to play an adventure game with the hardest puzzle ever to solve in an adventure game.

Jeez! That game was a must-have at $60. At $20, there is no reason for you not to own a copy of this game. It's such a relaxing game until you get to the end levels. Then, it's like: “YOU MOTHER F*****!!!! STOP FLOATING, AND JUST JUMP YOU SACK-B****! I almost threw my controller.

I finally saw this game in action for the first time at Fourhman's this weekend. It's cute, and it looks like there's a lot to do.

    For $20, I'd be in in a second if I owned a PS3.

That said, seeing this one in action didn't convince me the PS3 is need-to-have stuff, yet. Oh, well.
