I'm already on board, even though I thought I wouldn't be. My 3 year old daughter's getting my DS Lite for her birthday, and my wife and I will be replacing that with a blue DSi. The 1000 Nintendo Points were a big selling point, but we needed a replacement system at this point anyway.

I had a Game Boy since Advance. I got an SP, but gave it to my sister who wanted it more and...well, I wasn't playing the GBA I DID have, fold in half or not.

Just don't have the extra income to own a DSi. Seems interesting - I LOVE WiiWare, so I would probably be way into DSiWare.

But, yeah. The game funding just isn't there.

I'll likely sit DSi out, even if it would probably be a great addition to my daily train commute routine.

Don't forget about this: “For the first six months after launch, consumers who buy the system and connect to the Nintendo DSi Shop will automatically receive 1,000 Nintendo DSi Points.”

That helps defray that $170 price tag a tiny bit.

Brad Shoemaker over at Giantbomb.com seems to be highly impressed with the DSi to the point of reneging on his words of not buying one at launch.

I don't play my DS: Lite enough to justify buying a DSi. I don't think they'll win me over until the next new handheld generation.
