Criterion Games Looks to Steam For Burnout Paradise
Everyone that listens to the podcast knows that I have chatted up Burnout Paradise on the PC. I think it looks great at the higher resolutions and it runs really well on a good machine. I did think it was priced about $10 more than it should have been, but because the Criterion guys are so good at supporting their games, the price is probably worth it. The big gripe I had was that EA put a bunch of their new titles on the Steam marketplace DRM free, but left Burnout Paradise off the list of release titles.
That oversight made be cured soon with the latest blog post over at the Criterion Games website. All you see is a big Steam logo like the one to the left, and the words “Burnout Paradise is coming to Steam. More details to follow.” Nothing like being subtle. Looks like I might have run out of excuses.
