Capcom Discusses Plans Regarding PC Gaming

Videogamer.com just posted up a fantastic article about Capcom and their company strategy regarding PC gaming.  They seem to look at PC gaming as a strong platform in the future, specifically in countries like Russia, India and other European and Asian countries, where the PC is still the platform of choice due to price of ownership when it comes to a console.

Other topics that they hit on are diffferent release dates from PC to console (they are closing), shoddy ports (now developed in house), Street Fighter IV as a viable PC title (could be the best version) and of course, whether Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2 or Resident Evil 5 are coming to the PC (a murky maybe to yes).  If you are a PC gamer it is interesting to read how Capcom has analyzed the industry and sees the PC platform as a strong medium for them in the future.

All I ask is that Capcom learns that the mouse and keyboard actually exist, and would be great for any game that involved shooting, like Resident Evil, or Devil May Cry.
