Call Of Duty: World At War Map Pack Coming With More Zombies

Submitted by on March 12, 2009 – 12:24 pm4 Comments

On March 19th the Xbox 360 and PS3 will get more maps for Call Of Duty: World At War. This map pack will include three standard maps with a additional zombie map, Verruckt. The above video goes in great in depth explanation of Verruckt talking about the new zombie AI, new perks, new power ups and generator that players activate to create traps for the zombie horde.

I was a huge fan of the Nazi Zombie Mode in Call of Duty: World At War but lost interest because there was only one map. I feel like Treyarch has something special here that they can develop and finally make a better image than “the guys who make the crappy Call Of Duty games”. You know a developer is serious about their game when they add new AI with the map pack. Hopefully, Activision can see this potential and stop forcing license games down their throat with a limited time frame. Another video after the jump.

You know what would be awesome: if you could play the Nazi Zombie mode on all of the multiplayer maps, with hordes and hordes of zombies. Maps like the night version of Makin would be creepy as hell!
