Age of Booty Demo, Trophy Patch Today
After a November PS3 release (a month after the Xbox 360 version) and free map pack in December for Age of Booty that lacked promised Trophy support we hadn’t heard much from Certain Affinity, the game’s developer. I was wondering what they’d been up to and did some digging. They haven’t been sitting around, it seems, since they are listed as the developer on the Xbox 360 version of Left 4 Dead. Something tells me they’re not hurting for revenue.
Today Capcom let us know two things that should make PlayStation 3 gamers who haven’t looked at Age of Booty yet more interested in it, if only briefly. First, the Trophy patch finally goes live today and second, a demo version is coming to the PlayStation Store today. For a refresher on what the game has to offer, IGN’s review might be worth a read.
Really, a game like this needs more than a demo and a Trophy patch almost four months after initial release. Give a really broad audience an excuse to check out your demo. Why not a free pirate costume for LittleBigPlanet with an Age Of Booty sticker or two?
At any rate, demos are always welcome on the PlayStation Store, especially since every game isn’t required to have one. When it goes live later today, take it for a spin and tell us what you think here.
