Aeropodcast #74: You Can’t Top Blue Dong Twinkies

This week, we have another jam packed edition of the Aeropodcast, complete with Nick Puleo from Co-optimus.com, and Tori Munn, the significant other of our very own Stephen Munn. Stephen also joins us for the discussion which focuses on mature themed content and how video games have come to handle topics that might be more adult in nature. Focus points include looking at titles like Fallout 3, Gears of War, Indigo Prophecy, and more. Most of us looked at the interactive nature of video games as being a reason why mature themed items tend to get more scrutiny by the press. Mass Effect was a game that we talked about that proved how tame, well prepared, mature themed content can go awry in the mainstream media.
We also answer a few questions from the community as well as went over some solid news items including some discussion over the Capcom timing of their Resident Evil 5 DLC announcement, Activision perfomrs some more explotation of their games, Ray Parker, Jr. liking money and Dwayne Johnson ripping up on the Doom movie. Also, find out where the hell our title comes from by the end of the podcast, but one clue can be had by watching the Watchmen. Also, make sure to visit www.Co-Optimus.com for all your co-op gaming questions and stories.
