Singstar Queen Coming to PS2/PS3 In March

Submitted by Joe Haygood on February 3, 2009 – 1:34 amComments

freddiemercuryonps3I just read the news over at IGN that Singstar: Queen is coming to both the PS2 and PS3.  While I own a PS2 and could probably buy this for that system, this news has made a PS3 purchase confirmed.  Freddie Mercury is by far my favorite vocalist ever, and to be able to sing a ton of his greatest hits, and not have to listen to some horrible cover singer trying to do his voice justice is music to my ears.

Some of the classics are here like Bohemien Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions and Crazy Little Thing Called Love, but even some of the lesser known hits like One Vision or The Show Must Go On (Freddie Mercury’s last recorded song).  Yes I am a sucker for Queen, and this will finally get me over the hump on a PS3 purchase.

Is it sad that Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank Future and Killzone 2 make me go yeah, but I am not sure, but a Singstar: Queen sends me over the edge?
