Runaway: A Road Adventure Comes to GOG.com

Submitted by Joe Haygood on February 17, 2009 – 3:13 pmComments

runaway-a-road-adventureWeird timing on this release, but GOG.com has announced the release of the original Runaway: A Road Adventure.  I just mentioned this game two podcasts back, and I have to say that it does stand up nicely over time, as a good adventure game.  Some of the puzzles are a little convoluted, and there is a lack of political correctness at times, but it is a solid, fun to play adventure game.

As with all other games over at Good Old Games, you get the game, free of DRM, and with lots of other goodies.  In the case of Runaway, you get 17 high res wallpapers, avatars for your various forum and messenger needs, and finally a full manual in PDF format.

Head over to GOG.com and check out more on Runaway: A Road Adventure for more info.  Also, if you do not have a GOG.com account, make sure to use our banner links to sign up, and help out Aeropause.
