It’s time for another Aeropause contest, and this one will be our first that requires you to show some real skill. This Saturday & Sunday we will be holding our first Halo 3 tournament. It will be a simple elimination tournament where the bottom player after each round will be eliminated. This means you will have plenty of chances to stay alive, unless you suck in the first round of course. Once we have the top 12 they will battle it out on a custom map of my choosing. This part of the tournament will be a bit different. After each round of slayer your points will be counted. Whomever has the most points after 3 battles will be named the winner. Each round will showcase a different weapon. We will have a sniper round, a rockets round, and then finally we will have a mystery round. Please make sure before entering that you will have Saturday & Sunday night free. It will take a few hours each night to make the tournament happen, so please be patient.

How to Enter:

There will only be 60 spots available in the tournament so please send in your request to enter as soon as possible. To enter just simply send in your Gamertag, email address, state you live in, and full name to richard@aeropause.com. If accepted, you will be sent an email detailing the exact time you will be playing and how to find the appropriate room. Make sure and be early to your match. We will start at the posted time and failure to appear will mean a forfeit.

Rules:

1. You must 18 or over to play.
2. Anyone displaying racist or hateful speech will be kicked out of tournament.
3. Contestants Must Reside in Continental United States or Canada.
4. You must have an XBL microphone, if I can’t hear you then it’s game over.

Prizes:

1st Place = Custom Painted Halo 3 Faceplate (Painted by Gaming Artist Pavel Dolgov -$115 Value)

2nd Place = Free Copy of Halo Wars

3rd Place = $25 EBgames Giftcard

P.s. If all 60 spots do not fill the deadline to enter is this Friday! If you have any questions about the tournament please feel free to e-mail me at the address above, and I will do my best to answer you.

Beat! I have to work saturday night. I would destroy this. Add me at Chaos xRiP. I got three 50s on it and currently working on objective and snipes. Add me if you want to play either of those playlists with me.

  • Richard Windsor says:

You can register, just let me know you are the one that wants to play that way and I will put you guys in separate rounds that way one can play at a time. If you both end up in the finals then I will just make sure that your not killing each other over and over again.

  • PenultimatePain says:

I think my brother has to work that night anyway =(

Tonight was a blast! I appreciate you letting me participate. Thanks to the organizers, and thank you to the people in my room for tolerating my bad jokes and sniping me in the face repeatedly while I begged for mercy. Good times. :)

We were happy to have you Ms. Bloggy. How did you do overall so far, or were you eliminated already?

Just wanted to say a quick 'thank you' for putting together the tourney this weekend; I had a fun time tonight! It was especially great to meet other fun-loving folks from the community. Best of luck to everyone who made it through to tomorrow's round!

I was eliminated already but got a great string of games in this evening. Definitely glad I signed up!
