MLB 2K9 Demo Comes to Consoles

Spring is in the air, which means the re-firing of barbeques, girls in spring and summer outfits, and of course, the grand old game of baseball hits ESPN and the video game world. With the fast approaching release date of Major League Baseball 2K9, 2K Sports has released a demo of their newest baseball sim, complete with updated graphics, and other simulation tweaks. The demo is currently out on the Xbox Live Marketplace and will be on the Playstation Network this Thursday.
In the demo you will play through three innings as either the Philadelphia Phillies or the Tampa Bay Rays at the beautiful Philadelphia Citizens Bank Park. The demo will give players the chance to try out the new control schemes for fielding, batting and pitching, and will show off a bundle of new signature animations for the big name players on both teams.
MLB 2K9 will be coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and 3, PC, and PSP on March 3rd, 2009.
