I just downloaded the demo yesterday and played through both of the areas available in the demo. I didn't even realize you could hot-map weapons to the d-pad, that will help quite a bit.

I went in with the feeling of playing Gears of War or some similar title, but reverted back to my RE 4 tactics after getting stuck in a corner with 5-6 zombies smacking me around. I like the addition of a capable partner running around with you, especially when you can boost them to another area that you can't reach and must cover them while they unlock a door or do some other task so you can both move on. That will make for some interesting situations.

The final version should be more refined, I believe. You pick up gold during the demo from corpses and barrels, so you must be able to spend your money on future weapons, upgrades, items, etc. I really liked the upgrade system of RE 4, that would be a welcome return.
