I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.

More Aeropause Gaming Nights, Now With Prizes

Submitted by on January 8, 2009 – 3:38 pmNo Comment

A few weeks ago, we had our first two Aeropause gaming nights, and while they were okay, we were looking for more help from the community.  This weekend, we are looking to have two events, and we have prizes that will go to the best players on each night.

So what are these great prizes?  Each night, we will award a t-shirt from Play N Trade, specifically, the Play N Trade located at a strip mall in New Jersey shopping mall in New York.  And what do you have to do to get one of these t-shirts?  For one, show up, and two, you might want to register in the forums.  Post your user name in the Aeropause Gaming Nights thread so we can make sure we have you gamertag.

The game nights are as follows:  Friday night starting at 7PM PST/10PM EST, we have Rock Band 2 on the agenda for the 360.  We will be playing either Band World Tour mode or Quickplay set lists.  If we are going to have more than four players, we will a second moderator to help with setting up an additional room.  The second night is Gears of War 2, and it will be an all nighter on Saturday.  The game will start at 10PM PST/1 AM EST and we will go til we can play no more.  Again, put your gamertag in the forums so we can get your info.  The games on tap will be Horde and probably some multiplayer as well.

If you have suggestions or want to set up your own gaming night, feel free to post the event in the Aeropause Gaming Night thread.  Also, let us know some genres that you want to cover, so we can spread the love through all the games.  Any platform is acceptable for a gaming night, although some are easier than others to configure.  Be it Wii, 360, PS3 or PC, we can get a game night going for it, just as long as the community participates.
