Dark Sector Possibly Coming to PC

Submitted by Joe Haygood on January 19, 2009 – 2:52 pmComments

Anyone remember Dark Sector?  You know that dull, blue and grey shooter with the Krull-like glaive that you could use to decapitate enemies.  Well, a screenshot showed up on Big Download today, showing the options screen of a PC version of the game.

Developer Digital Extremes was working on a PC version of Dark Sector when it was announced, but cancelled that version shortly after.  While this would not be unheard of, as many other titles have been converted and ported to the PC, sometimes years later (see Halo 1 & 2), but it could just be a screen left around from the original development.  So far, no comment has been received from Digital Extremes or publisher D3 on the existence of Dark Sector on PC.
