Aeropodcast #66: BOOM! Tacos Ahoy

Submitted by Joe Haygood on January 20, 2009 – 1:56 amComments

This week it is just Joe and Fourhman, and they are discussing graphics in games. Specifically, a question that Aeropause community member Jordan Snyder sent in became the focus of our main topic this week. He wanted to know what direction the industry is heading in, regarding realistic graphics. Fourhman and Joe both used Heavy Rain as an example of how close realistic graphics are to coming on gaming machines. Also, we look at whether gamers really want the outcome of realistic graphics, or the legislation that might come with it.

The community corner was full of great questions this week, and we also looked at some of the great articles that were on the site in the past week, including several first thirty articles, and some solid reviews. Our news section covered the closing of Gamerscoreblog.com, how Treyarch seems to think there is no distribution system for patches on a PC, and a funny story that became the source of our title this week.

This week our music is by Revolution Void, which can be found at www.revolutionvoid.com. The podcast is put together by the Aeropause Mixmaster, Stephen Munn, and his twin turntables of steel.
