Free Santa LBP DLC nonsensically split into two parts

    By Joe Fourhman | December 11, 2008

I’ll happily take any free LittleBigPlanet DLC on offer, but the next two weeks look like a bummer. For some crazy reason, they’re taking two weeks to produce a Santa Claus costume. Starting 12/11, you can grab the shirt and pants… then mark your calendar for 12/18 when you can get the hat, moustache and beard. As with all the previous holiday-themed costumes, SCEA is threatening that they will only be available for a limited time.

I guess this weirdness is to balance out the unrestrained awesomeness of the Street Fighter LBP costume package. Some very nice LittleBigCosplay of Chun Li, Guile, Ryu and Zangief can also be yours starting 12/11, for the price of $2 each or $6 for the set of four.

Oh, and if you were thinking of getting into Sackbook, the fan-created LittleBigPlanet community that used official artwork and had a crazy group PSN login scheme, don’t bother. As expected, Sony smooshed it. I don’t know why people think they can get away with making things like that.
