Christmas Music Composed by NES Favorites

Submitted by Mike Koss on December 26, 2008 – 3:17 pmComments

Unfortunately this may be a few days late but this is too good to pass up. Doctor Octoroc has put out an 8-bit album of Christmas music, using the style of favorite NES games. This album puts that video game flair that should warm the hearts of NES fans. The album is available as a free download. My favorites from it include Ryu, the Red Nosed Ninja, Carol of the Blemonts, and Kraid, Rest Ye Merry Mother Brain. I love 8-bit music, especially those borrowing from some of my favorite memories: NES gaming.

Oh, and it seems that his 6 month old dog is in need of some expensive surgery. To offset the cost, he’s accepting Paypal donations. For each donation that is a multiple of $15, he’s sending out a CD of the music. The CD’s are being professionally printed and should be shipping in late January.
