Stardock’s “Elemental: War of Magic” Announced

    By Levi Thornton | November 5, 2008

Stardock’s next game, Elemental: War Of Magic, was just announced today. Reported from Big Download:

Stardock CEO Brad Wardell states in the article, “Imagine Civilization with magic in a fantasy world, almost, in terms of gameplay,” Players capture shards of magical power in the game which gives them access to use more magic which they can either keep or give some of it to “minions” to spread the power around.

This game seems to go with Stardock’s normal gaming philosophy like being ridiculously complex, low system specs (look at the screen shots), and easy modifications tools. The only problem I have with this game that it looks like a cheap flash game. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really looking forward to this game. I’m looking for next Civilization fix and I’m thinking this might be it. Look for the Beta early 2009.
