So Have You “Geared” Up Yet

Submitted by Joe Haygood on November 7, 2008 – 12:19 pmComments

So, after countless trailers, presentations, and a name change for Clifford “Don’t Call Me Cliffy B” Bleszinski, we finally have arrived at the release date for Gears of War 2.  Easily expected to be the crown jewel for Microsoft and the Xbox 360 this holiday season, Gears of War 2 is suppose to expand upon the concepts that were brought about in the first game, including some of the relationships between the characters.

With that out of the way, did anyone go to a midnight launch event, or even go so far as to forget about sleeping and ransack their way through the campaign mode in one evening?  Did anyone decide to brave the evening at one of the three major events that Microsoft was hosting to launch Gears 2?  I saw some of the early footage from the Universal Citywalk event and it was crazy.

Go ahead and log into our forums and talk about your experiences with Gears of War 2 and your midnight launch stories.  Not a member of the forums?  Well shame on you.  Don’t you know that it is the unspoken third civic duty as a person of the world (third after voting and paying taxes).  Go here to sign up, and jump into the discussion.  And remember registration is free and will help you in becoming eligible for prizes in the future.
