Inside Xbox is a dirty tease; Not the GoldenEye I asked for

    By Jeremy Yerby | November 2, 2008

I once every few days flip through the pages of Inside Xbox, that little thing that blinks orange when updated on the front page of your Xbox dashboard. Sometimes there is some decent stuff on there, but today, that was this dirty, mean-hearted tease.

This is not the Goldeneye I asked for.

This is not the GoldenEye I asked for.

The first words my eyes came across on this screen was “Download GoldenEye”. My heart literally jumped into my throat with excitement. Then it sank again when I realized it was just the movie. Whilst some of you may be happy with renting this film from Xbox Live, I of course am NOT. I was very joyful, if only for a few fleeting seconds, at the thought that the long sought after and long-rumored rerelease of GoldenEye 007 from the Nintendo 64 had quietly slipped into my Xbox.

But alas, that was just a dream.
