Game Stop wouldn't buy used games if they didn't plan to make profit on them.Regardless of how much profit they make, they appeal to the "instant money" fix that most of us want.  Some people would think it is too complicated to sell things on Amazon or e-bay but really it is just a matter of setting up an account with either (or both), setting up a pay-pal account, and uploading photos of what you trying to sell. People should not be surprised that this is the case.
