Aeropodcast #56: Its Halloween: I Got A Rock
By Joe Haygood | November 3, 2008
This week, we have Fourhman coming back from his one week absence, and Joe made sure to lay the guilt trip on him. Beyond that, they look at the state of gaming in an economic downturn. Does an industry that is normally considered recession-proof, make it through today’s economic climate unscathed, or will there be some losers in the gaming sector. Is the economy affecting some of our purchasing decisions? Also, how did the discussion turn into a rant on Wii Music.
This week was a slow week for community news, but we are putting a new focus on our forums and would love to have you visit. Also, be aware that we are building a backlog of some of our articles, so if you send in a suggestion, it might take a bit before it is used, so we don’t burn through all of our entries. In news we talk about The Beatles getting their own music game and how that affects Rock Band 2, EA laying off 6% of its workforce and Circuit city getting the Gasface from Sony, along with some other stories.
Music this week is from Revolution Void, and can be found at www.revolutionvoid.com. The podcast is put together by the Aeropause Mixmaster, Stephen Munn, and his twin turntables of steel.
