The Witcher Sells A Million, Gets a Sequel and More
By Joe Haygood | October 31, 2008
We are a little late on this news, but yesterday, we got an email from CD Projekt, announcing that their PC only franchise, The Witcher, has sold a million copies since its release last year. The sales numbers include both the original and Enhanced edition versions, but it is still a pretty staggering number considering most PC titles barely knock out 100,000 to 200,000 sold at best.
Also, CD Projekt released a video to thank the people that bought The Witcher, but in the trailer, there are some images from several other projects, including The Witcher II, GOG.com and their recently acquired title, THEY.
