AeroConfessional: I ordered that second witch-touching DS game

Submitted by Joe Fourhman on October 1, 2008 – 1:28 amComments

Look, so I ordered Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! 2 DUO, the sequel to the by-all-accounts-lame witch touching DS game. What. Lay off. It’s late at night and I make bad decisions.

For one week only, Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! 2 DUO is marked down to $19.90 at Play-Asia.com. The usual price is $48.90, which is pretty standard for imported DS games. Not a bad deal, if you’re into witch touching DS games with no region protection.

Now a franchise by definition, Dokidoki Majo Shinpan made some snarky weblog waves last year because the game revolves around you poking underage girls with the DS stylus in an attempt to find the hidden mark that identifies which ones are secretly witches. In the sequel, there are twins.

It’s not as dirty as it sounds. In fact, most reports suggest the game is primarily a messy pile of text conversation trees, with the slightly bawdy bits somewhat rare… and nowhere near anything properly definable as titillating. But I can let you guys know all about when my happy Play-Asia.com box arrives in a few weeks.
