Beta Access to Home via Qore Changes

Submitted by Joe Haygood on October 30, 2008 – 10:54 amComments

So it seems that there was an announcement that if you bought the sixth issue of Qore magazine via the PSN Marketplace, you would gain access to the Home beta.  Well, it looks like Sony is going to take a mulligan on that one, because the announcement today states that only yearly subscribers to Qore will get access to the Home beta.

So I have to ask if anyone out there actually bought the sixth issue of Qore just for this beta, and how do you feel now after hearing this?  To me, this just seems like a switcheroo at the last moment, and I would hope that Sony changes their mind.  Maybe it is just a miscommunication, and it just means annual subscribers get first access, then issue six purchasers, but if that is not a case, shame on Sony.
