See Shanoa crush the undead and show off mad ink, just one month to go

    By Stephen Munn | September 21, 2008

It won’t be long before I drop my cash for the new Castlevania game on DS, Order of Ecclesia. I’m nuts for the franchise and this game looks just as good as its two precursors on the platform, which is all I ask of the series. This trailer comes from the official Japanese website and features much more in-game footage than the previous, though it is interspersed with video from the intro of the game.

One of the few female leads in Castlevania’s history, Shanoa has the ability to use a glyph system that’s tied to the tattoos that cover her arms and back. Perhaps an excuse to show off lots of skin, perhaps a device that will be a little more interesting than Soma Cruz’ soul-stealing in two of the games a few episodes ago. We’ll see. I’m there on day one, regardless.
