I really liked last year’s DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.

Rumormill: Major Xbox Announcements Incoming

Submitted by on September 8, 2008 – 10:00 amNo Comment

You can take this rumor with a huge grain of salt, because from what I have read from a post on VGchartz, Microsoft is planning to release its new dashboard on September 25th. They are also said to be taking over G4 for 5 hours to countdown to the launch of the upgrade. So far the rumor sounds somewhat believable, but then you read the long list of other announcements to be made and you wonder if this tipster is smoking crack. None of these rumors seem implausible to happen, but they are all said to be slated for September 25th, which is what makes me suspicious. You would think that Microsoft would want to keep a few eggs in the basket for a rainy day, but if this rumor is even half true it seems they are really trying to win this holiday season. Read the list and see what you think.

* Partnership with Sirius Satellite Radio (listen while playing games)
* New Online Music Store
* Mad Lib Channel (author has no idea what this might be)
* 12 New Demos to be released (Portal, Free Halo 3 Map Pack)
* 12 New Games Unveiled For First Time including Mass Effect 2 and New Halo games
* 6 Free Xbox Originals

So far there is absolutely no evidence to back up even one smidgen of this rumor, but like a lot of rumors that we see there is usually some truth to them in the long run. The Sirrus radio idea is one that I would really like, and I definetly could see them debuting a few new games alongside the new dashboard, but in the end I don’t think that this entire list is anywhere near accurate. The author of the post also stated that this is the short version of what he knows. He states thay there is much more in store for the dashboard launch. So what do you guys think?
