More Dead Space Community Day Presentations

Submitted by on September 15, 2008 – 10:27 pmNo Comment

This video is a little late, but it was under embargo until August 30th.  The first presentation is from Brett Robbins, Creative Director on Dead Space.  Brett looks at the design concepts that were used in the game, and how they help the game stand out from other games in the genre.  The level he uses to demonstrate these ideas is the first level of Dead Space.  And yes, the game does pause, he just had a problem with the game recognizing the start button on the controller.

Chuck Beaver gives the second presentation that deals with the backstory of Dead Space and all the other mediums that are being used to tie into the Dead Space universe.  Along the way, we get a look at the new Dead Space anime that will lead directly into the start of the Dead Space game.  We also geek out with Chuck as he shows off the miner helmet replica and the plasma cutter replica.
