LittleBigPlanet Coming Early?

So LittleBigPlanet went gold on September 19th and was headed to manufacturing. How fast can a game be readied for release? Is Sony going to take the whole month of October to ramp up marketing or will they race to get the game out into everyone’s hot little hands sooner?

I received a new email from Sony today advertising the releases for October, including SOCOM Confrontation (October 14th) and LittleBigPlanet, but LittleBigPlanet is tagged October 7th, not the 21st as previously announced. A mistake? Perhaps not.

Last year it took Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction three weeks from going gold on 9/27 to hitting stores before 10/18. October 7th is just a few days shy of 3 weeks after September 19th.
