Xbox Live Wednesday: Fable II Pub Games, Bionic Commando Rearmed

If you fired up the Xbox Live Marketplace today, you found two new games vying for your dollars Microsoft Points.

The first game out of the games has been long in the making, but the wait is finally over.  Bionic Commando Rearmed has finally come out and is available for 800 points.  The game is a remake of the original Bionic Commando, but has been remade with all new graphics, sounds and gameplay mechanics.  A bonus with the game is that your character in Bionic Commando Rearmed can be subsituted for our dreadlocked protagonist in the the Bionic Commando sequel that is coming out next year.  Pretty cool bonus feature for your money.  A demo is also available.

Also coming out this week is Fable II Pub Games, which is a compilation of several bar games that show up in Fable II.  Here you can play them earning lots of cash that is transferable to your character in Fable II when it comes out this fall.  The three games are called “Fortune’s Tower” “Keystone” and “Spinnerbox”.  Not sure how they play, but I would assume a demo will be available today.  The game is available for free if you pre-ordered Fable II, and 800 Microsoft Points if you did not pre-order the game as of yet.
