Weekend Gamer: The Clone Wars Edition

Submitted by Joe Haygood on August 16, 2008 – 4:23 amComments

So here we are already knee deep into another weekend, hopefully full of gaming and other geeky stuff.  Everyone that listens to the podcast always hears what we play each week, but this is your chance to sound off and let everyone know what you are planning to hammer away at.  Do you have a Platinum trophy you need or maybe that last 10 achievement points you need to finish a game?  Comment below and let us know what your going to file through in its entirety.

For me, it was revisiting Bullet Witch, along with almost finishing The Darkness.  I am still dabbling in Vampire Bloodlines and Mass Effect, but not to a great degree.  I also tried out that awesome Bionic Commando Rearmed demo on Xbox Live.

I saw Clone Wars, and what I saw of it I enjoyed, but my son was acting up over the fake lightsabers the peddlers were bringing around each aisle of the drive-in, so I missed chunks of it.  Nice animation for the characters, but the story seemed bland at best.
