Nostalgia: The 1996 Doom Comic Book

    By Joe Haygood | August 21, 2008

Feeling a need for the blast from the past, I picked this link up from Shawn Elliott’s Twitter feed.  Yep, that is the cover from the Doom one shot comic from 1996.  It is almost a faithful representation of the game in comic book form, complete with weapons lying on the floor, and lots of blood splattering.

Here is a link to the full comic, and all of the inside panels, and I have to say that I really wanted to own this book, but could never find it at my local comic store.

“I’m Radioactive now.  That can’t be good.”  Awesome dialogue.

      Hey man,

I have been looking around on the Internet for a buyer of my copy of the Doom comic that you talk of above. So am just wondering if you are still looking for a copy and hw much you would be willing to pay?

      Thanks.
