GTA IV Gets Replay Mode, Expanded Player Support on PC
By Joe Haygood | August 20, 2008
New Grand Theft Auto IV PC details have been released and so far, it is looking really good. The graphics have been updated, and those with high end video cards paired with high resolution monitors will see some great visuals, like the picture to the left.
Also new to the series will be the new replay function. While playing GTA IV, the game will always be caching the last 30 seconds of gameplay, so you can play it back to see what you did right, or wrong. You will also be able to save multiple replays together to create a montage which can be uploaded to the Social Club.

Lastly, Rockstar touched on the expanded multiplayer support, stating that while the 360 and PS3 versions support 16 player multiplayer, the PC can do more. There was no clarification of this statement, but I would assume he means more players in a game.
All of this is coming together to form another great GTA game on the PC, that I should of waited on, instead of getting antsy and buying the console version. Add in the mods that the community will create and you have something that will be a definite buy on November 18th.
