Dead Space Roundtable With Glen Schofield

Submitted by on August 8, 2008 – 2:49 pmNo Comment

Glen Schofiled is the Executive Producer of Dead Space, and while having a great demeanor with us, looks like he could just come over and rip you in half at any moment.  Luckily for us, he is too focused on the production of Dead Space to have any time for ripping anyone up.

Glen turned out to be a great guest for the roundtable as he was always able to answer all of our questions, and had some great stories at the end of the presentation.  It was also mentioned after the presentation that Glen has advocated that at 2:00 PM every day, his development team head over to the EA Gym and workout for a half hour to an hour.  The reasoning behind it is that working out normally will put a person in a good state of mind, working out all of the stress that comes with development time schedules.

Take a listen to the audio from the interview, and while not great, wait for how Glen can compare Dead Space to Burnout.  One of the best lines I have heard at a press event in quite some time.  Be aware that I tried cleaning up the audio and boosting the sound as well as I could, so some people are a bit quiet, but overall, I think the audio turned out well enough to post.
