Bungie Lays Down the Banhammer On Porn File Share

One of the great features that came out of Halo 3, besides Forge was the File Share.  The File Share allowed you to store pictures, maps and video from some of your games.  It was implemented in such a great fashion, that it is surprising no other game has picked up on it as of yet.

Well some enterprising person found a way to hack his File Share and put up a picture of a couple of ladies engaging in a friendly pelvic exam, otherwise know as porn.  While not overly shocking, something you might even see on late night Skinimax, it was a bit of a shock to find it in the Halo 3 File Shares.

Well, Bungie has released a statement, telling all Halo 3 players that they are about to release a new technology that will fix this issue and if anyone is found hacking their share to put up porn pictures or videos, they will get hit with a Banhammer so harsh that it is too nice to call it a Banhammer.  It will be far worse than a Banhammer, to the point of never allowing you to play Halo 3 again.

No word on how they will do it, or when it will be implemented, but I would say now would not be a good time to boost your porn collection on Bungie.net.
