16 Street Fighter IV covers for latest issue of Games magazine

Submitted by on August 6, 2008 – 11:35 amComments

Imagine Publishing and Capcom have teamed up to bring a special 16 cover variation for every character from Street Fighter IV which will be out on Thursday 7th of August. No other video game magazine has ever produced this many covers for a single issue.

Issue 73 will have an exclusive review of the game and a six-page feature packed with Street Fighter trivia, a full game history, and even little-known tips for Street Fighter IV from Capcom insiders.

Leo Tan, UK PR manager at Capcom

“After such a long absence, Street Fighter needed something special to remind people that the most-loved fighting game in the world is back,” And a record-breaking 16 covers is just that special something. We couldn’t be happier to be working with Imagine Publishing and games™ to make this happen, and look forward to working with them closely in the future on arguably our strongest line-up ever.”

I can’t imagine buying and collecting all 16 copies of the same issue, but I’m sure we’ll see them soon after on Ebay for the die hard Street Fighter fans out there.
