Whoops, Crysis Wars Revealed on EA Store
If you pointed your browser in the direction of the EA Store, you would find a newly minted listing for Crytek’s upcoming expansion pack/not quite a sequel, Crysis: Warhead. The game is listing for a nice $29.99 price tag, but it also included mention of a new multiplayer mode, called Crysis Wars.
Not much is said, but it is a new multiplayer experience with 21 maps, including seven new ones included in the package. So is this a persistent online battle maybe, or just an enhanced version of the control point multiplayer mode that was in the original Crysis game? Not sure, but we don’t have to long to wait as the game is slated for a Fall 2008 release. And just in case you were wondering, it is a stand-alone expansion, so you do not need the origial Crysis game to play Warhead.
