well i just ought one at my local Gamestop they had 3 in stock i went back in 2 days and they still had one left.also my local Walmart usually has one in stock i live in a small town if you haven’t guessed but so i haven’t had trouble finding them at all.

I have to agree with Paul as it is getting more common to find them in stores. I have found them at several Target’s by my house, as well as at a Walmart. Best Buy still seems to be out of them regularly, except when they do their flyers that announce they have them in stock. Even my sister in law found some at a Target by her house. I guess Target is the place to go for Wiis.

My local Toys R Us still posts poorly-typed notices on their door when they have a Sunday shipment… like “We have 60 Wii Bundles arriving Sunday, first come, first serve, handing out tickets at 8am.” And they are all gone before the store even opens. This happens at least twice a month.

The Wii isn’t hard to find anymore. It might take a couple of trips to get one, but you can. Wii Fit, however, is nearly impossible to get right now.

It’s worth noting that the US market market is now second tier to Japan and Europe, as well as potentially other nations, due to the weakness of the US dollar. If demand is strong in multiple areas, why waste inventory on a location where your profit is devalued in translation to the Yen?
