    Space Siege Demo Now Available

    By Joe Haygood | July 29, 2008

Eric Kranz sent us in word that the Space Siege demo went up at the Nvidia Nzone website.  If you want to check out the game for yourself, click here.

Space Siege is the latest title from Gas Powered Games, with development being headed up by one Chris Taylor.  The game is being built using the Dungeon Siege engine, and while having the feel of “Dungeon Siege in Space”, Space Siege offers a little more in its mechanics.  Being an Engineer in space means that the loot system will require you to put together new weapons.  And the clickfest is being a little more tempered with a well crafted story that puts you in the role as the savior of humanity.

For more details on the game, check out the official site.  Space Siege has been sitting in a low profile seat, so run on out and give the demo a shot.  And one more plus – since the game runs on the Dungeon Siege engine, it should run decently on older PC rigs.
